Christy Son | Project Manager

Christy Son is a Project Manager for Integrated Real Estate Solutions (IRES), working primarily as a consultant to the Department of the Navy. Ms. Son is currently responsible for the project management of Navy related BRAC dispositions including the 3,000 acres of the former Naval Station Roosevelt Roads, and recently closed the sale of a portion of the former Department of Defense Housing Facility located in Novato, CA. Ms. Son was previously responsible for the gathering and implementation of the transactional due diligence for over 450 Court facilities that will be transferred from the counties of California to the State pursuant to the Trial Courts Facility Act of 2002, SB 1732. In addition to government entities, Ms. Son also works closely with key private sector clients by assisting in the disposition of their single tenant net lease properties.

Prior to joining Colliers International, Ms. Son worked for the Administration of the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles as a Graduate Administrative Analyst, focusing on the Special Programs portion of the Section 8 Federal Housing Assistance Program. In this capacity, she helped apply for and managed grants funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and acted as an intermediary to subcontractors in assisting low-income and homeless families. Other responsibilities included analyses of federal market rent and future housing assistance payments as well as housing policies and contract management.

Ms. Son graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a dual Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science and History. She also holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Public Finance.
